the seal on the left side of engine top end will leak after time. When my bike was under warranty, I had it fixed twice. The dealer (they hate warranty work) finally sealed it up tight. I don't know what they did but that seal has not leaked since. I spoke to another dealer today that has a 2000 Savage on the floor that he just sold. I told him that if she (it's a she because I asked him) rides it more than five thousand miles before her warranty is up, she'll be in their shop to fix that seal. He stated that Suzuki would never address a fix to this problem at the factory because it would not be cost effective to re-engineer the design. They'll just continue to fix them under warranty.
